Sunnymere does not look like a ‘facility’. We look like a ‘home’. We have four levels, with a state of the art elevator to reach all the floors. It was built like a ‘sorority’ house where everyone has a private room and eats meals together in the dining room. These rooms are not considered apartments, because there are no kitchens in any of the rooms.
Each resident has his/hero own ‘room’ that they furnish themselves.
Years ago, most people lived in a home or apartment with one bathroom. The family ‘shared’ that bathroom.
At Sunnymere, every two rooms share a toilet. Two-room suites have their own powder room. Showers are a few steps down each hall.
